Some search information

When you use a search engine like Google to perform a site search or a web search the websites you visit record in their logs an actual hyperlink or at least text that can be used to "redo" the search you just did.  This hyperlink is typically provided by the search engine.  Obviously this information is quite useful to the Webmaster (site owner or publisher).  Here is a sample of the hyperlink text from one of my www.bobshowto.com log files:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=firewood+rack+plans

If you click on this link Google will do a search with the words "firewood" "rack" "plans".  So as you can see it is easy to reproduce your search.  Some search engines don't provide this information others seem to encode it but I can still use this information and reproduce your search.
