Wills Eye Cost

Below is the cost of my visit to Will's Eye hospital, and in this case Dr. Rhee for a consultation on my low tension glaucoma.  This is basically a picture of my Wills Eye bill.  You can see the total of $464, but it was worth it to get the opinion of the finest doctors in the nation.  Since this bill I've had another visit to Wills.  Be sure you let everyone know if you're not insured!  I always say "YES I'm insured by Discover" while flashing my credit card!  Since the doctors and Will's Eye does not have to pay the overhead of supporting the insurance companies in your case, they are more than willing to give you a discount on their normal fees!  Also in many cases your doctor may have sample medications on hand.  There have been times when the samples have probably been worth more than the cost of the visit, at least in my case.
